Biography

Chloe, made in Japan almost showing up on a Thai Airlines flight mid way over the Pacific, decided to have her first coming out party in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.  She also lived in Illinois, Louisiana, and California. At 4, she started artistic gymnastics and Track and Field in San Francisco. To complement her athletic endeavors she began her artistic career in youth operas with the internationally renowned composer/conductor Urs Leonhardt Steiner performing in his productions The Second Seven Years and Return of the Phantoms, singing the USA National Anthem for the San Francisco Giants and being the youngest choral member in the performances of Beethoven's 9th Symphony.  She also began studies with Doris Fukawa in violin, her first musical instrument.

In 1995, aged 8, she moved to Brussels, Belgium, for an eight year old a transition to literally another world, culturally and linguistically.  Immersed in the rich artistic culture of Europe she continued and cultivated her musical passions, studying violin with Yuri Braginsky, commencing classical guitar in 2000 at the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert Music Academy with Bernard Kuypers and voice and singing lessons at the Wemmel Music Academy. In athletics her gymnastics career flourished, becoming a senior member of the Belgian National Gymnastics team, the Belgian National Artistic Gymnastics Champion, competing in international competitions, World Cups, European and World Championships, and being pre-selected for the Olympic Games.  A dislocated elbow preparing for the 2007 World Championships, the sole qualifying competition for the 2008 Olympics, precluded her from qualifying.  After this career changing disappointment, she refocused her athletic endeavors back to Track and Field, specializing in Pole Vault.  After just 5 months of training she placed third at the Belgian Championships - All Categories and 2nd in the under 23 age group category. Chloe is the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Belgian Vice–Champion All Age Category. In 2012 she showed her dominance by bringing home the four championship titles - Flemish Champion, Indoor and Outdoor, and Belgian National Champion, Indoor and Outdoor. In December 2011 she was the first Belgian pole vaulter to break an 8 year old Belgian Record with a jump over 4m22. She further increased the Outdoor Belgian Record to 4m26 and continued to increase both the Belgian Outdoor and the All-Time Records to 4m29 at the 2012 KBC Nacht.

Not satisfied with any spare time what-so-ever she started dance training with the internationally renowned choreographer/dancer Tony Stone, tricks with Team Chakal, and began a career in acting and modeling.  She has acted in the feature films
Reiki, directed by Pedro Chaves, Unspoken, directed by Fien Troch, Amsterdam Heavy, directed by Michael Wright, and in commercials for Phillips Ambilight, Armani and Reebok. Amongst others, notable performances were the Athens 2008 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, the Belgian Royal Family 50th Anniversary private Gala and she tricked for the Belgian rapper 13hor.  Simultaneously, she completed her university studies, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree.
